Position Overview
The successful candidate will report directly to the Site Director of Finance and will serve as one of two principal finance business partners for the care groups managed from the site. This role acts as a critical liaison between Finance and Operations, delivering expert financial insight and analytical support to both clinical and non-clinical teams, facilitating informed financial decision-making.
The individual will proactively and constructively challenge all dimensions of the site's financial and operational performance.
The incumbent will be accountable to the Site Director of Finance for ensuring compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and directives from relevant health authorities. They will also interpret governmental policy changes and evaluate their financial implications for the organization, proposing necessary adjustments to policies to align with organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive business partnering to the care group portfolio by: Supporting and influencing both operational and strategic decisions; Interpreting and driving financial performance; Advising on planning, business case formulation, external context, benchmarking, and commercial opportunities; Analyzing and mitigating financial risks within the division; Challenging any actions that contravene the organization's financial principles and policies. Foster strong relationships across the site, particularly with care group management teams, to ensure effective business partnering. Advise and support Clinical Directors and managers in fulfilling their financial responsibilities. Analyze and establish a detailed financial forecast that incorporates the effects of all actions undertaken across the care groups. Lead the monthly review of financial performance for their care group, ensuring alignment with deadlines, and make recommendations to the Site Director of Finance to ensure that organizational performance meets established targets and is well understood by the Site Executive.For a comprehensive overview of the role, please refer to the full job description.
