Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Finance Support Specialist to join our team at the Nissan dealership in Tunbridge Wells. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of dealership financial records. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, gaining valuable experience and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash banking processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately reconciled and allocated.
  • Communicate effectively with Sales executives and Managers to verify receipt of vehicle payments.
  • Conduct daily reviews of cash accounts, collaborating with the Senior Accounts Assistant to ensure timely payment of invoices and proper allocation of deposits.
  • Provide general support within the accounts office, addressing inquiries from both internal and external auditors as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively within a team of accounting professionals, both qualified and unqualified.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Accountant.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a background in financial support roles, demonstrating proficiency with accounting software and strong skills in MS Excel. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various departments within the organization. Previous experience in the automotive sector is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
