Job Description

As a Control Systems Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues across our clients' control systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections, system audits, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Identify and analyze complex system faults, utilizing troubleshooting techniques, diagnostic tools, and procedures to resolve control system issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to improve performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce comprehensive documentation to support system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to ensure 24/7 system support.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience in providing technical support for control or similar systems
  • Desired skills:
    • Proficiency in PLC programming
    • Familiarity with SCADA systems and HMI design
    • Familiarity with industry-standard control system protocols, such as Modbus, Profibus, or Ethernet/IP
