Are you a motivated and experienced Project Engineer/Project Manager looking to join a growing company?

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer/Manager to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a Project Engineer/Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring customer requirements are met, and overseeing the design, delivery, and budget management of projects ranging in value from £5k to £1.2m.

You will work closely with the Sales and Design team to ensure smooth delivery of projects and ensure the client's needs are met at every step of the way.

  • Review and ensure project specifications meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to define design parameters.
  • Manage timescales, delivery schedules, and project budgets.
  • Engage with customers to clarify project requirements.
  • Oversee project handover from sales and ensure seamless transition to engineering and manufacturing.
  • Oversee projects from conception to completion (cradle to grave).
  • Use the SAP ERP system for planning resources.

Requirements

To be successful in your application for this Project Engineer/Manager role, you will need:

  • Previous engineering experience / background.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles, with some experience in managing and delivering project management preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Projects, and Excel.
  • Resilient, determined, and able to manage multiple moving parts in complex projects.
  • Ability to work independently from the engineering manager.
  • To be able to interpret CAD drawings.
