Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Marlborough House, working on our male acute mental health inpatient ward. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide supportive care to patients with minimal supervision, promoting a therapeutic environment and enhancing their overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our inpatient nursing and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills, ensuring seamless interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in the induction process, completing the Care Certificate and undertaking PEACE training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Person Specification
  • A good command of the English language and excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
