Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a pivotal role within the management team, overseeing the finance department and collaborating closely with the Managing Director to shape and implement the Business Strategy.

  • Lead the finance team, cultivating a culture of high performance aligned with the IMI ethos.
  • Assist the Finance Leadership team in executing the Finance Transformation strategy.
  • Oversee all financial reporting and audit obligations, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Generate precise monthly financial statements and annual budgets.
  • Formulate strategic objectives and plans to meet financial goals.
  • Coordinate the annual external audit process.
  • Establish and uphold a robust financial control framework.
  • Evaluate quotation processes and contracts to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Review and submit the Monthly Management Pack along with related financial documents.
  • Conduct variance analysis and perform cost centre evaluations.
  • Share best practices with IMI finance teams.
  • Engage in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to Direct and Indirect tax regulations.
  • Possess a recognized accounting qualification (CIMA or ACA) or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate a proven history of delivering high-quality financial accounts and analyses.
  • Exhibit experience in a results-oriented environment, adept at managing core processes while fostering creativity and innovation.
  • Show a strong record of leadership in change management, achieving results and enhancing performance, with the ability to inspire and guide development through effective influence.
  • Possess excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Be adaptable with the ability to meet deadlines and the commitment to see tasks through to completion.
