Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Domestic Trainee to join our team at Evander. As a Domestic Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a variety of settings, working closely with our experienced Service Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and participate in training and development, acquiring skills and competencies required to become a Service Engineer.
  • Undertake the company apprenticeship to attain NVQ level 2 in fenestration.
  • Attend training courses as directed to further develop your skills.
  • Assessment Centre to observe and participate in training.
  • Ensure duties are carried out in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Create a favourable and professional image in respect of Evander to customers, insurance companies, colleagues, and the public.
  • Maintain a detailed and up-to-date logbook of training and experience.
  • Ensure information security policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Display a technical attitude to learning and demonstrate any skills which they feel are transferable to the role.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • A can-do attitude and display the attitude to succeed and learn.
  • Be prepared and demonstrate a hands-on approach to all work duties.
  • Understand the importance of the role and treat the customer, company property, internal and external stakeholders with respect.
