Job Title: Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Location: Ellesmere Port area

Contract Type: Temporary contract ongoing, also temp to perm opportunity available

We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities – Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  1. To service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.

Requirements and Qualifications – Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  1. A Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
  2. Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical fields, preferably with an FMCG manufacturing background.
  3. A competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience.
  4. PLC/automation experience ideally to produce safe systems of work.
  5. Ability to contribute to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, process, or service.
  6. An all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role as well as conveyors and processing end of line packing.
  7. Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organisation of the engineering plant is also essential.
