Your role will involve traveling to various client sites, where you will perform repairs and maintenance while reporting directly to the Service Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct thorough maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a diverse fleet of forklifts.
  • Operational Proficiency: Operate forklifts for maintenance, testing, and maneuvering purposes.
  • Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze on-board diagnostics and communication systems of forklift trucks.
  • Customization: Utilize parameters to configure forklift characteristics tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Safely work on electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Customer Engagement: Address customer needs in a fast-paced environment, adapting to various working conditions.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while minimizing production downtime.
  • Parts Management: Adhere to company protocols for ordering parts and managing warranty claims.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Possess experience in repairing hand pallet trucks, electric reach trucks, and various types of counterbalance forklifts.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary starting at £35,000 plus overtime opportunities.
  • Benefits: Company van provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 22 days of holiday, increasing to 25 days, plus bank holidays.

This position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.
