Job Description: Catering SupervisorReporting directly to the Chef Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our catering operations. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of food preparation, service, and management within your designated location.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of catering assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals according to established menus and dietary requirements, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Chef Manager to develop and implement catering strategies that meet the needs of our residents.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a catering environment, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
- Intermediate or Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate with Catercraft or equivalent qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with residents, staff, and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
