Job Opportunity

NHS 24 is seeking an experienced medical leader to provide professional clinical leadership and expertise in urgent and emergency care to our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our urgent and emergency care services.
  • Influence the development and implementation of safe and effective clinical models and new ways of working with health and social care across Scotland.
  • Collaborate with territorial and national Health Boards to deliver high-quality care.
  • Support the development and delivery of digitally enabled services.
  • Participate in a Medical on Call rota, providing remote support.
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (FRCEM) or equivalent.
  • Current registration with GMC, including the specialist register for Emergency Medicine.
  • Significant experience in delivering emergency medicine services.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and change management skills.
  • Experience in major health informatics interventions and clinical planning.
  • Demonstrable achievement in a clinical leadership or management role.
