Role Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Solar Roofer to collaborate with a skilled electrician in a two-person team. Your main duty will be to install solar PV systems on residential properties in the Reading area. Together, you will handle installations, with the electrician responsible for wiring and commissioning the system while the roofer secures the panels and manages cable routing.
Before your scheduled visits, all necessary scaffolding, tools, and infrastructure will be arranged, along with a comprehensive technical survey of the site.
Daily Tasks:
Typically, you will complete one installation per day. Once the installation is finished, your workday will conclude.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in domestic roofing
- Familiarity with various roof types, including slate, tile, and rosemary
- Valid UK Driving Licence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in solar panel installation
