About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Fitter to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As an Assembly Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and testing aircraft components, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test aircraft components, including nose and forestay, main gears, and side stays
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and ensure compliance with FOD regulations
  • Work with industry-leading equipment and technology, including zero-gravity lifting and snap-on computerized toolboxes
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals and deadlines

Requirements

  • Completed Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in fitting and assembly, preferably in an aerospace or automotive environment
  • Ability to follow technical drawings, specifications, and procedures
  • Knowledge of COSH and flow line methodologies is desirable
