We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Acute Medicine to enhance our team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. This is a permanent role situated within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU).
The AMU offers a vibrant atmosphere where consultants collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising specialist registrars, advanced clinical practitioners, physician associates, and nursing personnel. As a consultant in the AMU, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate patients promptly across various units, including the acute assessment unit and short stay ward.
Key responsibilities encompass contributing to the education and training of junior staff and engaging in clinical governance and audit initiatives. There is also the potential to explore specialist interests with designated sessions.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and timely evaluations of patients in the AMU
