Job Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative

Exciting opportunity available for a motivated individual to join our client's team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative in Southam.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our delivery team. As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers, providing exceptional customer service, and reviewing and verifying orders before delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Reviewing and verifying orders before delivery
  • Using handheld devices to confirm deliveries
  • Following assigned routes and adhering to time schedules
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the delivery van
  • Conducting risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van
  • Adhering to traffic and transportation regulations
  • Complying with company policies and procedures
  • Picking orders and preparing them for delivery
  • Assisting with general warehouse maintenance
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Full driving licence
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in manual handling
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet targets and work well in a team
  • Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required
  • Willingness to undertake any necessary training
