As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the management of nursing services, promoting high standards of care, and ensuring effective induction and supervision of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage nursing services in liaison with the Home Manager
- Promote and maintain high standards of nursing care
- Ensure effective induction and supervision of nursing staff
- Work within NMC and CQC standards, alongside internal policies and procedures
- Plan, direct, and deliver high-quality person-centered care through care planning
- Oversee all aspects of medicine management
- Undertake staff reviews through supervision, appraisals, and team meetings
- Take an active role in training the team of nurses
- Maintain accurate and relevant documentation and reports
- Deputise in the absence of the Home Manager
- Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager
- Active NMC PIN
- Clear DBS
- Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
