Job Title: Fire Safety Inspecting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Inspecting Officer to join our team at Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters in Ripley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fire safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on fire safety matters.
  • Develop and implement fire safety strategies and plans to mitigate risks and prevent fires.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective fire safety management across the organization.

Requirements:

  • SO1/SO2/POD* level of experience and qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
