About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. This position is integral to our operations, focusing on the management of our warehousing activities related to spirits production.

Compensation:

Annual salary of £25,000.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday, with a schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation related to logistics operations, including checklists and reports.
  • Safely operate forklifts for loading and unloading shipments, as well as providing materials to production lines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on all company vehicles, including forklifts and delivery vans.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain precise inventory counts and collaborate with accounting and production teams to ensure a steady supply of essential materials.
  • Pick and pack orders efficiently.
  • Deliver goods to various locations as required.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse spaces to optimize storage and ensure proper handling of diverse products.
  • Safely maneuver materials within the distillery and warehouse settings.
  • Assist with various warehouse tasks as directed by management.
  • Handle casks safely in preparation for shipments and sampling.
  • Adhere to operational policies and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Support the Bottling Department to fulfill business needs.
  • Assist management with barrel movements and related activities.
  • Report any issues to the Warehouse Manager promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Highly organized with effective planning abilities.
  • Willingness to contribute to a small team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment.
  • Forklift truck license is required.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications.
