About the Role:

Aquillas is seeking an experienced Community Fundraiser to join its successful fundraising team. As a Community Fundraising Specialist, you will be responsible for building and developing fundraising relationships in the community, providing excellent stewardship and support to individuals and groups, and increasing income and delivering the agreed Community Fundraising strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Fundraising Manager to support the implementation of the Community Fundraising strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall fundraising goals.
  • Provide exceptional support to all 'in aid of' and 'third party' supporters, fostering repeat activity and maximizing income potential.
  • Oversee all online giving donations from individual donors, offering outstanding stewardship and optimizing income potential.
  • Manage the In Memory Giving Programme, building strong relationships with supporters and identifying new opportunities to promote in-memory giving.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, delivering engaging talks to raise awareness of the organization's mission and values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local corporate supporters, providing exceptional stewardship with workplace fundraising and charity of the year partnerships.

About You:

  • You will represent the organization in the community, requiring confidence in communicating with supporters, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong communication and presentation skills.
  • You will have experience in developing fundraising products and a deep understanding of the value of great stewardship, along with experience in the charity sector.
