Job Description

T&K Associates Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a permanent position.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Shepshed. As a Welder, you will be responsible for laser welding products, completing ad hoc welding tasks, and performing mechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laser welding products to high standards
  • Completing ad hoc welding tasks as required
  • Performing mechanical assembly and fabrication work on products
  • Quality checking products to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Relaying build issues to the production manager
  • Performing other duties as required
Requirements
  • Essential: Welding experience and a certificate or evidence of welding training
  • Desirable: Previous experience using a laser welder and knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Co-ordination of hand and eye movements to produce a good quality product
  • A good team player with strong attention to detail
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.50 with the opportunity for an increase after a successful probationary period
  • Paid overtime available at a premium rate of £21.75 per hour
  • A 40-hour working week with a Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm schedule
  • An annual bonus scheme and company pension scheme
  • 21 days holiday + bank holidays when permanent
