The Role: Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (SHE) Manager to join our central SHE team. This role will focus on providing support within our South region, encompassing projects across West Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire.

This position offers a blend of site-based responsibilities and the flexibility to work remotely when not actively engaged in site or office duties.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all project sites adhere to current legislation, group policy, and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in SHE performance across all projects.
  • Identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance SHE practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on all SHE matters.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and incidents, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction Certificate)
  • CSCS Card
  • FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal certifications are highly desirable.
  • IOsh affiliated membership is preferred.
  • Valid Driving License
