Job Description:
About the PracticeLloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment is delighted to be representing a bright, spacious, and air-conditioned surgery based in the Southport area that is recruiting a Small Animal Vet due to a growth in clients/pets as a result of exceptional service and increase in treatments offered.
The Practice:
- Purpose-built to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art technology
- Locally managed with a focus on community needs
- Independent operation led by 2 local Vets
The Team:
- Supportive and enthusiastic team including 3 Vets, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, an experienced Practice Manager, and Reception Staff
The Candidate:
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong general surgical and medical skills
- Experience in emergency surgery
- Confidence in working sole charge when necessary
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week) with part-time hours considered
- No out-of-hours responsibilities
- Weekend rotation of 1 in 4
Benefits:
