About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team as a Senior Civil Design Engineer. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for undertaking foul and surface water drainage strategies in conjunction with the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake foul and surface water drainage strategies in conjunction with the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Develop and implement sustainable urban drainage solutions (SuDS) to mitigate flood risk.
  • Collaborate with senior members of staff to deliver high-quality projects and client accounts.
  • Support the development of fee proposals and technical work.
  • Conduct site visits to inform project delivery and ensure compliance with design standards.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years' post-graduate experience in civil design engineering.
  • Proficiency in Civil3D or PDS, InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage software.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, design principles, and health and safety protocols.
  • Logical analytical approach to problem-solving and experience with AutoCAD for technical drawing.
