Job Title: Nursing Home General Manager

About the Role:

Bright Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced and inspirational Nursing Home General Manager to lead our purpose-built care home in the Port Glasgow area. The home provides nursing and dementia care in a state-of-the-art facility, with en-suite rooms and spacious living areas, where residents receive a high-quality service and have an active lifestyle supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional standards of care and exceed residents' expectations and needs
  • Provide staff with guidance, advice, and training to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care
  • Manage and be accountable for the home's income and expenditure budgets, ensuring financial stability and growth
  • Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision, meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Motivate and manage the staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines, promoting a positive and supportive work environment
  • Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community, building strong relationships and partnerships

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing a successful care home, with a strong focus on quality and resident-centered care
  • Excellent knowledge of Care Inspectorate legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Nurse qualification and PIN, with a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices

Remuneration:

The role is paid at up to £60,000 plus bonus, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
