Job Title: Accountancy and Payroll Clerk

We are working with a leading local employer based in Liverpool to appoint a Payroll Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid working pattern, and the salary banding is £29,091 to £31,998.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for 4,000 employees as part of a team
  • Deal with regulatory reports, including P11d's, P60's, P45's, and pension reports
  • Respond to queries from the workforce on pay and pension issues
  • Handle the auto-pension enrollment process and ensure compliance
  • Deal with various 3rd party providers, internal stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Conduct monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits, and control accounts
  • Deal with complaints and complex payroll queries
  • Support the ongoing upgrading and testing of payroll systems
  • Ensure all payroll data is recorded correctly and accurately

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in dealing with large payrolls
  • Working knowledge of pensions
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
