Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, therapeutic interventions, and activity programs that cater to the unique needs of residents.
  • Lead and supervise support and nursing teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional person-centered care, utilizing clinical governance and personal development.
  • Recognize and address areas of concern, including sickness management, staff training, and coaching and mentoring.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues, utilizing strong interpersonal and working relationship skills.
  • Understand and support residents with disabilities, health, and social care needs, utilizing appropriate aids and equipment.
  • Provide personalized care and support to ensure residents' personal hygiene needs are met.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a similar setting is preferred.
  • Experience supporting the elderly is essential.
  • A strong knowledge of person-centered care is required.
  • Good working knowledge of CIW/CQC standards and the Health and Social Act 2008 is necessary.
  • Health and Safety awareness is essential to ensure the safety of residents and colleagues.
