Grounds Maintenance Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Trainee to join our team at a prestigious residential gated community in Weybridge. This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills and knowledge in grounds maintenance and contribute to the upkeep of our beautiful communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, and litter picking duties to maintain the high standards of our communal areas.
  • Assist with painting and general maintenance tasks to ensure the community's facilities are well-maintained.
  • Operate petrol-powered tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • A customer-centric approach with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to travel across the 15-mile site in a Golf Buggy.
  • Ability to pass a DBS check.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a half-hour lunch break.
