Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Devizes. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, installing, maintaining, and repairing grain and bulk materials handling and drying plant and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform installation, planned preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of plant and machinery.
  2. Respond to emergency and reactive maintenance requests as needed.
  3. Provide emergency cover as required (1 week in 4 during the harvest season).
  4. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective self-management while on-site.
  5. Adhere to Health & Safety, COSHH, and company policies.

Requirements:

  1. Background in mechanical service with a desire to enhance their skill set.
  2. Experienced Engineer with a background in heavy machinery.
  3. Preferably experienced in the servicing and installation of mechanical plant and machinery (not essential).
  4. Ability to read equipment manuals and mechanical/electrical drawings.
  5. Full UK Driving Licence.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Call-out cover on a rota basis during the harvest season (May to September).
Occasional flexibility to stay away from home to meet project deadlines.
