We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd.

Job Duties:
  • Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject and promoting academic excellence.
  • Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to curriculum delivery, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Geography or a related field
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
Experience:

Previous experience teaching geography in a secondary school setting is highly desirable, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent student outcomes.Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of geographical concepts and principles, with the ability to create engaging and stimulating learning environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Effective classroom management techniques, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a Geography specialism
  • Experience using technology in the classroom, enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes.
Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, following the school term calendar. Full-time hours are expected, with additional responsibilities such as parent meetings and extracurricular activities.
