Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Menu Planning and Implementation: Work with our culinary team to plan and implement new menu ideas and ensure that our food offerings meet the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and support a team of kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar culinary role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Qualifications: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent in culinary arts.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in supervising a team of kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
