Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. This role primarily involves working during night shifts and is crucial for the effective management of traffic systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Traffic Control Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair all traffic management equipment as necessary.
- Install, verify, and dismantle traffic management systems in compliance with legal standards and training in sector scheme 12a/b/c/d.
- Assist in loading and unloading vehicles as required.
- Complete daily work and maintenance documentation for each task and submit it to the designated supervisor.
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety regulations.
- Fulfill the watchman role by reporting any issues that may arise on the network.
- Perform any additional tasks relevant to the position.
- Ensure all activities are conducted with environmental considerations, aiming to prevent pollution and comply with legal and corporate standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 months of experience in traffic management, particularly in the installation and removal of traffic signals. Essential qualifications include Lantra M1, M2, and M5, with Lantra M3 being highly desirable. A valid UK driving license is a prerequisite for this position.
Compensation PackageAt Colas, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, which includes:
