The National Trust is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at Hardwick Hall. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of colleagues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our café.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of food and beverage staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our visitors.
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that all displays and signs are accurate and appealing.
- Assist with the induction and training of new colleagues, promoting a culture of excellent service and teamwork.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of health and safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
- Collaborate with the food and beverage manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proven experience in a food and beverage role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, and occasional late evenings.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
