Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Classroom Teacher: Assist the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Provide Individualized Support: Offer one-on-one support to students who require additional help, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Contribute to a Positive Learning Environment: Help create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting a love of learning and social interaction among students.

Requirements
  • Enhanced Child DBS: Hold an enhanced child DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Experience Working with Children: Have experience working with children or young people with additional care needs.
  • References: Provide two recent professional references.
  • Team Teach Training: Be Team Teach trained or willing to attend training.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
