Key Responsibilities:- Training and Development: Assist with the training and development of parents, carers, and other professionals on the caseload to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide holistic care.
- Care Delivery: Ensure that care is delivered to agreed standards and within the policy framework of Sirona: care and health and NMC guidelines.
- Clinical Competence: Maintain and update own clinical competence and skills to provide evidence-based care.
- Family-Centred Approach: Promote a family-centred approach to care and empower the child's family to take a lead in their child's care.
- Condition Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of the conditions that affect the children on the Lifetime caseload.
- Liaison and Collaboration: Liaise with the band 6 nurses when there are changes in the child/family's needs and work as part of the Lifetime core nursing team to provide clinical advice and support to the multi-agency teams.
