Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Data Centre Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a critical member of our Data Centre Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure environmental conditions are maintained at all times, with 100% uptime of all M&E critical building systems.
  2. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems as a member of our 24/7 on-site team.
  3. Carry out daily emergency callout tasks and monitor the Data Centre environments for changes in condition, identifying the cause and providing reports to the Team and Customer.
  4. Assist in ensuring 100% uptime of Customer Data Centres and support contractor/engineer's activities, such as isolations, connections, work permits, etc.
  5. Maintain systems and assets in a data-driven environment, using new digital tools and platforms, and demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, including the ability to fault find.

Requirements:

  1. Trade trained with ideally 3 years' experience in building services.
  2. City & Guilds Mechanical or Plumbing discipline competency, Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent apprenticeship.
  3. Willing to be Authorised as Mechanical AP on site.
  4. Experience in critical sites (Data Centre or Banking Sites).
