About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer to join our team at Bennett And Game Recruitment. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a range of projects within the Civil Engineering sector, specializing in RC Frames, Underground Structures, Geotechnical Engineering, and Tunnelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze existing projects or components to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate complex scientific and engineering principles in a clear and concise manner
  • Prepare technical reports to summarize findings and recommendations
  • Develop new project concepts, specifications, and tenders
  • Design and define technical specifications for temporary and permanent works
  • Identify and implement unique project BIM requirements
  • Produce high-quality drawings and 3D models using Autodesk CAD3D, 2D, and Civils 3D
  • Identify and implement new systems and processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost savings
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Plan and manage projects to ensure timely delivery, quality, and budget
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in structures, temporary works, or Geotechnical engineering
  • High level of technical skill and expertise
  • Ability to support, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Sound knowledge of CDM H&S regulations
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Autodesk CAD3D, 2D, and Civils 3D
  • Excellent written English language and grammar skills
