About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our dynamic Defence team in the Southwest and Wales region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects across the UK.

Due to the complex nature of these projects, we require a candidate with proven experience in risk management within major infrastructure programs, particularly in sectors such as rail/aviation, water/utilities, highways, defence, or nuclear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of an integrated risk management framework across major capital programs.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout all project phases.
  • Develop comprehensive risk management plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and track risks, ensuring timely reporting and escalation as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective risk mitigation measures.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on risk management best practices.

  • Proven experience in risk management within major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
