Project Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at a Chartered QS and PM Consultancy based in Leicester. As a key member of our Residential team, you will work on new build social housing projects in the East Midlands and across the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties
  • Preparing cost estimates, tender preparation and evaluation, contract administration, cost reporting and schedules of work
  • Acting as Employer's Agent on Design and Build projects
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and developing excellent time management strategies
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in running projects quantity surveying and/or project management
  • Must be able to work with minimal to no supervision
  • Experience of working as an Assistant QS/Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant/Employers Agent on building housing projects is desirable
  • Proficiency in measurement, ideally using CostX Measurement Software is desirable
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Driving license and a car
