About the Role:

As a MIG Welder/Fabricator at Optima UK Inc Ltd, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts to high quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using your skills and experience to deliver excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabricating metal parts using MIG welding techniques
  • Quality checking own work to ensure high standards are met
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience as a Welder
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Determination of the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Knowledge of using measuring equipment to quality check work
  • Fettling and grinding sheet metal work
  • Quality checking finished products
  • Recording and reporting any issues
  • Manual handling of different tools to complete the job to the highest standards set
