About the Role

Astute People's Renewables team is partnering with a leading renewable energy provider to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for its Anaerobic Digestion site in South West Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of all mechanical and electrical maintenance and engineering works across the plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and planning preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain all plant and equipment, including pumps, SCADA systems, heat exchangers, and motors.
  • Collaborate with the AD Manager and Ops Manager on various projects, including design works, sourcing new equipment, and building.
Requirements
  • Experience in Anaerobic Digestion, Water Treatment, Food Processing, or a similar environment is desirable.
  • Control over a plant or similar environment, including maintenance and engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience of stripping pumps and maintaining various plant and equipment.
Personal Qualities
  • Ability to work within 45 minutes of the site and participate in an on-call rota.
  • Willingness to collaborate with other team members on the plant.
