About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Fragility Fracture Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of our Fragility Fracture Service, working closely with our team of experienced surgeons to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the management of complex trauma cases in adults and children, including hip and knee arthroplasty.
  • Participate in the training and education of junior surgeons, helping to develop the next generation of Orthopaedic specialists.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex orthopaedic conditions.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (with or without sponsorship)
  • Highly developed skills in trauma and revision arthroplasty, with a strong track record of delivering excellent patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our department.
