About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at FNZ. As a key member of our testing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan and prioritize testing activities to ensure timely and effective delivery of software releases.
  • Test Data Management: Create and maintain appropriate test data to support testing activities.
  • Test Script Development: Develop and maintain test scripts in a test management tool to a specified quality standard.
  • Issue Reporting and Tracking: Document and report issues arising from testing in a timely manner and manage their resolution and tracking.
  • Testing Status Reporting: Provide regular testing status and completion reports to project teams and clients.
  • Estimation and Planning: Provide estimates of testing effort to the test, delivery, and project manager(s) as required.
  • Testing Standards and Procedures: Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of testing standards and procedures across the company.
Requirements
  • Desirable Qualifications: ISEB/ISQTB Foundation Certificate in software testing.
  • Minimum 3 Years of Testing Experience: Incorporating several aspects of System testing, Regression testing, End to End testing, Load and Performance testing, UAT, and OAT.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC): Knowledge and awareness of the SDLC and STLC.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience of working with Kanban and Scrum.
  • Test Management Tools: Experience of working with test management tools such as Jira, HP Quality Centre/ALM, and SILK Central.
  • Financial Sector Experience: Experience of working within the financial sector, ideally with stockbroking knowledge.
  • Automated Testing: A background in automated testing or a strong desire to move into automated testing.
  • Training and Development: Experience of training junior members of a testing team or the enthusiasm to pick up such responsibilities.
