We are seeking a driven and seasoned Internal Sales Team Supervisor to contribute to our ongoing growth.

Job Summary


The Internal Sales Team Supervisor will be instrumental in expanding, guiding, and managing the internal sales team to meet and surpass sales objectives.

This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a robust sales background, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a commitment to innovation.


Initially, this position will require a 'player-coach' approach, focusing on hands-on contributions while we scale the sales team, where the supervisor will play a vital role in sourcing and onboarding new talent.

The team will oversee all facets of the sales process from lead generation to customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard, develop, and nurture a results-driven internal sales team.
  • Lead and manage the sales team effectively.

Manage Sales Team:

Supervise the daily operations of the internal sales team, leading by example and contributing to team results. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members achieve their individual and collective sales targets while embedding the organization's culture, vision, and values in all income generation activities.


  • Contribute to KPIs and revenue goals through outbound calls to target markets.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and broaden the customer base.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance metrics, provide regular reports to senior management, and make data-driven decisions to enhance sales processes.
  • Team Development: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to improve the skills and knowledge of the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors, offering insights and recommendations to the sales team and management.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage sales team schedules, prepare sales forecasts, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and transactions.
  • Lead in developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential income generation opportunities, including prospect research and assessing the viability of opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to ensure value for money and maximize social impact.
Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record as a sales professional in a high-pressure business development environment.
  • Familiarity with measuring success and reporting progress against targets to Senior Leadership Teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Education: Degree in Business or Marketing (Desirable but not essential).
