Domestic Gas Operative

Job Summary:

The Domestic Gas Operative will be responsible for providing a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service to domestic heating installations and appliances in client properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and fault find heating systems to identify and repair issues
  • Carry out repairs and services to a high standard, in compliance with current regulations and legislation
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance and repair targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to clients and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

  • ACS qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1)
  • Energy Efficiency certification
  • Asbestos Awareness Training (training can be provided)
  • Previous experience in diagnosing faults on domestic gas central heating systems
  • Full driving licence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
