Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the infant BCG immunisation programme. The successful candidate will promote and facilitate collaborative working between the team and families in the delivery of the immunisation programme, ensuring the necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunisations and procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the infant BCG immunisation programme.
  • Promote and facilitate collaborative working between the team and families in the delivery of the immunisation programme.
  • Ensure the necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunisations and procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.
  • Maintain databases to ensure records are kept up to date and data is reported to GPs as per BCG Coordinators' instructions.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering, and may be responsible for arranging transport of vaccinations to the site.
  • Comply with Company policies & procedures.
Requirements
  • GCSE level of education or equivalent with a minimum of grade 'C' in both English and Maths.
  • Working in a community setting (schools) and/or working with children & young people (desirable).
  • Prioritise and manage own workload without supervision.
