Freightserve, a leading freight forwarding and shipping company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Forwarder to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process shipments via air, ocean, and road, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Prepare and complete all relevant import and export paperwork, including console data and HM Customs documentation.
  • Coordinate with haulage companies to arrange collections and deliveries of freight.
  • Provide quotations to customers for air, road, and ocean transportation services.
  • Negotiate rates with suppliers and manage invoicing for shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with customs procedures and regulations, including inward and outward processing reliefs.
  • Utilize MS Office software, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as ASM/Chief system and NCTS.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in freight forwarding, consolidations, and shipment procedures.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, including inward and outward processing reliefs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including overtime, and be on call as needed.
