Principal Flood Modeller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Flood Modeller to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting. As a key member of our Flood Risk & Drainage team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile regeneration projects, mixed-use urban developments, and strategic land schemes across the UK.

With a strong background in hydrology, hydraulic modelling, and river engineering, you will lead a team of modellers and flood risk engineers in producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) for development projects in the private sector and flood studies in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of FRAs and drainage strategies for private and public sector clients
  • Manage and mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in flood risk management
