Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Maintenance Technician to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support and repairs to manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with production colleagues to optimize process setups for maximum yield and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and personal standards policies.
Requirements:
  • Completed electrical engineering apprenticeship or training program with a recognized UK qualification.
  • Minimum of three years of engineering experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and oral, is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of working in the food industry is desirable.
  • PLC experience and mechanical skillset are highly valued.
