About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Information Assurance Manager to join our client's growing team, providing crucial security and data protection services for both internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on information assurance and security matters for both internal and external clients.
  • Implement and maintain information security processes, particularly to ISO 27001 standards.
  • Support audits and drive continuous improvements in security practices.
  • Ensure compliance with UK public sector standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS DSPT, and PCI DSS.
  • Conduct risk management activities and oversee vulnerability management efforts.
  • Provide incident response support for security incidents.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address security challenges and maintain compliance.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of information security management and governance.
  • Experience in security risk management and technical security controls.
  • Familiarity with incident response and data protection principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work on-site one day per week in the North-West.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in the UK public sector or large organisations, particularly in government, healthcare, or emergency services.
  • Knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Azure, Microsoft Security solutions, and SASE platforms.
  • Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CCSP.
  • Familiarity with GDPR/DPA 2018 and experience with data protection impact assessments (DPIA).
  • Information security auditing experience.
