Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch service to our valued customers, working closely with industry experts to build meaningful relationships and contribute to our shared mission of financial empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with the New Business team to take qualified leads and work collaboratively to source the most suitable products tailored to customer requirements.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of lender criteria to ensure precise suitability and deliver impactful sales calls.
  • Collaborate closely with lenders to facilitate smooth case processing and work in tandem with Fluent's Case Management team to work cases towards successful completion.
  • Proactively follow up on leads and diligently chase cases for updates, achieving minimum targets with meticulous care and attention.
  • Uphold personal performance standards of excellence, staying abreast of evolving FCA requirements and industry changes, and fulfilling CPD requirements to maintain professional competence.
  • Adhere to company compliance protocols, promptly addressing feedback and implementing necessary actions, and promote best advice and set a stellar example in customer care.
  • Champion the Fluent brand and uphold best practices consistently, embracing additional duties and tasks as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working successfully to sales targets and current or recent experience of an outbound call environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly to training and adapt to changes within the industry, and proven experience in outbound sales, objection handling.
  • Able to carry out processes in a compliant manner, demonstrate achievements against a wide range of competencies, and experience in a busy sales environment.
  • Desirable qualifications include CeMAP Level 1 (working towards Full CeMAP) and experience of using bespoke software.
